Wedding Preparation, Music and More in the Year of the Horse

Hello friends,
Here’s how things are going for me: Wedding…in seven days. Things to do: a lot! Wedding officiant: the Goddess Herself.
Feelings: range from overwhelm:

to sublime.

Definitely I’m on a major growth edge!
And all this is happening as we continue the preparations for the launch of my “Yoga in the Nightclub” music video in August (now in post production – you can see the teaser videos here), do dawn shoots and log footage for my “Shanti Om” music video soon to follow, complete the final mix for my surround sound album inspired by my North Pole trip, and prepare the launch of a new online TV channel full of inspired content. Just a few things!
This is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac, and is said to gallop. That has definitely been my experience!
What centers me at this time of speed is of course my spiritual practice. In remembering that I am not the “doer”, I am most efficient and happy as I turn my awareness to being a receptive witness to the grace that is always unfolding. Within that spaciousness, I feel deep peace in knowing I am marrying the only person I would want to spend the rest of my life with. I have none of the doubts, questions or uncertainty brides and grooms are often said to feel. Marrying Rishi feels as natural to me as breathing. The boon of being married by our beloved guru Amma is grace beyond words.
For those of you who are in or can travel to Toronto, please join Rishi and me at Amma’s programs beginning this Thursday. There are free days, and retreat days. Our wedding ceremony is open to the public in the early morning on July 14 at the end of the free Devi Bhava program (which begins July 13 at 7pm; doors close at 3am). I would love to share the wedding ceremony with you!
I have also many fabulous creative offerings that are coming up that I look forward to sharing with you. I will be back next week to tell you more about them – as a married Parvati Devi!
Love,
Parvati
